Anyone knows how to decipher the expiration date code on the rolled fondant packages? for example here is one : "10164"
I mean you need to call their customer service unless someone already knows the key to the riddle.
But I'm gonna take a wild guess--the June 13th 2010.
Maybe the 10 is for the year and the 164th day in the Gregorian calendar in 6/13.
Total guess on my part--you gotta call CS for the answer.
Yes, call Customer Service. The number is a batch number which they can pull up on a computer and give you the "born on " date and how long that particular product lasts. I went through this for a tube of wilton icing and that is what I found out to do for their products.
You need to buy 10 boxes of Wilton Fondant and then send a Self-Addressed-Stamped-Envelope to Wilton. They will send you a decoder ring and that will unscramble the numbers for you.
Not too many people have that ring....not sure why.

You forgot to tell them to include the box tops. Yuk Yuk Yuk!

Make sure you take it to the bathroom first so no one else but you will know the code. And the decoder will say buy more Wilton products. ha ha ha!!!
