I need to make 3 dozen chocolate lollipops for school this friday. Since AC Moore doesn't carry wilton halloween molds, and Michaels was too far of a drive, I purchased the wilton jack-o-lantern cookie pop pan. Any tips on molding candy melts in a pan rather than a plastic mold? Oil the pan, don't oil the pan? Freeze, don't freeze (to release)?

According to Wilton :

Making Candy Plaques in bakeware

Simply pour melted candy into the center of the area to be molded. Fill to 1/8 to 1/4 in. thick. Tap pan gently to break up air bubbles and spread candy evenly. Refrigerte until firm, unmold onto hand or soft towel.
