Does anyone have an ideal how to get the top layer of a cake to turn? I am doing a show and I am making a cake that is 4 layers high, all stacked seperately on a pipe(no layer touching the other), and I would like to have the top layer turning. It is going to be a small cake shaped like a woman in a bridal gown. Would like for it to run by battery, no electric at the site. Any ideals will be a great help.

I'd consult your local Radio Shack or other hobby store. I would think you could find some little motor to use that's battery powered.
