I'm looking for a banana cake recipe that doesn't use a banana cake mix.

try wasc with white mix and just add banana pudding mix, banana yogart in place of the sour cream, banana liquer in place of the water etc.

This is the one I use. I LOVE IT! I was shocked to discover I even had banana liqueur. I highly recommend using the optional liqueur. It just sends this cake over the top!

Banana Cake - Michellers
2 - white cake mix
2 c flour
2 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 2/3 c half and half
1/4 c oil
2 tsp banana flavoring
2 tsp vanilla flavoring
2 boxes of banana pudding mix
2 c banana drinking yogurt
2 mashed bananas
6 eggs
