I want to make a cake as a thank you for one of my friend but I am stumped on an idea. I know she likes sage green. She told me she likes white cake and chocolate mousse filling. I also know she prefers whipped icing over buttercream...so a MMF covered cake would be out of the question. Anyone have any suggestions?

depending on what the thank you is for, perhaps a heart shaped cake, with of course "thank you" written in the center. And some nice flowers and leaves as a boarder around the outside.

Of course this idea could be done on any shaped cake.

try looking at biscat's cakes.
Her cakes are always made with buttercream and then have some fondant accents to them...they are really pretty!

I made a very simple cake for my in-laws' anniversary. It's BC & covered with all different "love words." (It's posted in my pics - I'm not sure how to post it here). You could do something similar & use all kinds of different ways to say "Thank you." Just an idea! icon_rolleyes.gif
