State requirement for candy making in home

I am thinking of making candy for some extra money , but need to know legal requirements. CAn anyone tell me if we need license like having a bakery in home?
Certainly don't want to do anything wrong.

The answer to that question is going to vary greatly based on where you live and in some cases, specifically where you live where you live.
