How Do I Make An Edible Haunted Tree?

Im making a hounted house cake and my client wants a tree in front of the house . How do I make a spookey edible tree ? Any suggestions plz

Make it out of gumpaste! Not sure what size you are wanting,,but it's possible to handmold it. If big,,then make the trunk out of like 3, 4 or 6" cakes stacked, cover with fondant or frosting, then add the branches to stick into tree made out of modeling choc. or gumpaste. Do it when fondant(if using) is soft on cake.
you can try chocolate covered pretzles. thats what i used in my graveyard cake. you can see in my pics.
they were really easy to make. and yummy to eat!

OHHH Thank you so much for all the ideas love the pics of your trees !!! I dont know why I didnt get notified of your replies to my thread Any way my tree isnt that big about 7 inches high . I think Im going to try rkt and a gumpaste , Ive never worked with modelling choclate . We will see.......... lol. Thanks everyone
I did mine out of modeling chocolate. It was very easy to work with and I loved the effect it gave. Look in my pics, it's the graveyard.
