I use agentcakebaker's buttercream dream recipe. it's my favorite and has been a huge hit evertime I use it.

But, there's a but or I wouldn't be here, aye?

The recipe calls for 5-6 tbl milk. I have been putting 6 tbl in. then letting it beat in my KA for 10 minutes. comes up with an incredibly smooth texture and I love it! BUT...I'm not having success icing the cakes with it lately. It "tears" and moves and leaves holes when I try to smooth it and tonight i was so frustrated I wanted to chuck the cake out the window!

then it occurred to me, perhaps I shouldn't use the full amount of liquid? thoughts on this? I'm on a pretty tight budget and I don't want to make another batch of this that makes me crazy...so I thought I'd ASK before i did it! Thoughts and help welcome!
