I didn't vote because I have both and use both for different reasons.
The Americolor markers are thickish, long, and more "paintbrush" like.
The KopyKake markers are double ended with a fine point and a wider point. The points are stiffer than the Americolor.
The colors also vary a bit, so sometimes I choose one over the other for that reason.
I keep them in the fridge when not in use. Had both sets for several years.

Thanks for the info on the kopyKake markers BlakesCakes. I sometimes want the finer point and having a firmer tip would be nice sometimes, expecially when doing small details on my cookies. I will have to put that on my next order.
they will be for 90% cookies.
I have the wilton ones now (GAG!) and am looking around. Thanks for the info, maybe a little xmas gift for myself!
oh i know, but here in alberta thats all that was availbile, so NOW im going to spend the shipping :'( and get soem good ones, business is picking up so I dont want these wilton markers holding me back lol
I have the Americolor ones that I bought from VanillaFoodCompany.ca (they only charge $7 flat rate for shipping throughout Canada). The colours are nice, but seem to run out really quickly. It could have been an old set maybe, but I think I should have gotten more use out of them than I have. I do really like the tips on them though - very paintbrushy.
