I was going to do a cake for my boyfriend's daughter and since I didn't have a large daisy cutter, I "cheated" (his words, not mine) and purchased some silk flowers from Michaels. Well, feeling awful about it, since I JUST (last week) did an over the top cake for his OTHER daughter where everything was edible, I started looking at other purple and green cakes. Thats when I came across the Dahlia cake by TheSweetestThingCS and just fell IN LOVE with that flower!! AND, I believe I have cutters to be able to pull it off!! However I can NOT for the life of me find a tutorial on how to do the flower. . . Can someone PLEASE help?? I am on my way to work a full day today and then I will have only tonight to do the flowers and tomorrow to finish the decorating. If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! I will be checking in via his iPhone frequently during the day (since we work together). I really hope some one has some great ideas!!
