For anyone living in Illinois, I was at my local Gordon Foods picking up product and I noticed they had rolled fondant by Karps Foods...my question is has anyone used this fondant before and does it taste good. You can buy 50 pounds for $48.00 which I thought was a good price..any feedback would be appreciated.

Another thread asking about Karps fondant:

Couldn't find any info on the fondant, but Karps offers a selection of products to the food service industry:

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

Hi Babypooh - did you end up trying the Karps? I just found it and was wondering the same thing, how does it taste?

I was wondering the same thing. Did you purchase it and is it in fact rolled fondant or something you need to add ingredients to it to get rolled fondant?

Im sorry for the delay, I found out that it is poured fondant, which the owner said is the staple for the rolled fondant....I guess I will have to continue ordering the Satin Ice....It would be nice to find a supplier that you could get the Satin Ice from....after reading comments about Wilton which doesn't taste good? and then there is Duffs which I heard cost a lot...so I think I might try using the recipe for MMF and see how I like it.
