When I was at ICES there was a booth selling gelatin that you pour onto a textured mat and after it dried you peel it off and could cut it into shapes. It was very thin and transparent you could also add color to it, they had beautiful flowers and butterflies on display. Does anyone know what that was called and where I can find it? I thought I picked up a broucher but I didn't. Thanks

OP, thanks for asking the question, and BlakesCakes thanks for providing the link.
I just watched the video on cake connection. I actually ended up getting the global sugar art Alan T kit, but haven't tried it yet. That Cake Connection video was great.

There was SO much cool stuff in the vendor hall that my lil' newbie was about to explode after wandering around in there for a while. (My checkbook DID explode, by the way...)

Now, onto a new question. Do you have to purchase a gelatin mat to make those cool gelatin bows, or can you just brush the gelatin onto acetate and cut? Any more neat links to show how to make gelatin bows?

Never mind! I found the two links that apparently answer everything you ever wanted to know about gelatin.
