I have been mixing and mixing trying to get the right color, but can't get it. I'm trying to color fondant for Hawaiian theme and want the fushia/pink color you usually see on party favors. Any ideas of which colors to mix? Thanks so much!

I have used the neon colors when I made floresent green.. I bought the colors from my local grocery store.. They are just the squeezable bottles that you would buy when making colored eggs, only they are neon colors.. I am sure that if you start with a the neon color then add a dark pink little at a time and it will become hot pink.. Good Luck!

What colours are you starting with?

I did fuschia for a cake once and it needed an already hot pink with a teeny bit of blue added to it to take the edge off.

I was having the same problem, but with trial and error and lots of mixing colors, I found that adding a little tiny drop of Burgundy to my buttercream gave me the color I needed. Try and see if it works for you. icon_biggrin.gif
