My husband's workplace hosted a bake sale fundraiser for the Unite Way today. I made decorated sugar cookies with the United Way logo on them to donate for the bake sale. Apparently there were a lot of employees thinking that they were props and not cookies LOL. I didn't think that they looked like mini frisbees, but what do I know icon_smile.gif Atleast they all sold thumbs_up.gif

LOL
Last Christmas, my daughter and I used a gingerbread man cutter and decorated them in the uniform of my daughter's college band. The band had to leave for a playoff game on Christmas day and I wanted them to have a little Christmas cheer. My daughter emails me that night and says,
"Mom, I had a 'eat the d*mn cake moment' with the cookies. They all wanted to save them instead of eating them because they were so cute. I finally stood up on the bus and said, 'Eat the d*mn cookies! We'll make more later!'"

I love those moments! It's lets you know you've done a really good job. Congrats on your United Way cookies. icon_biggrin.gif Are they in your photos?

I made some Raggedy Ann and Andy 3D cookies, and gave one of each to my husband's co-worker who had recently gotten married (second wedding for both). Fast-forward TWO years. Her grandchild got hold of Andy and broke the cookie. Rather than make new ones, she had me repair the old one. Too funny! But I suppose it's no stranger than the guy who shellacked one of my Nascar 3D cookies and keeps it in the curio cabinet.

That is awesome. I can't wait until people don't want to eat my cookies! LOL

I made some Fiesta cookies for my Aunt for when she visited my Mom. She loved them so much that she wanted to have them framed...she was serious. My Mom finally told her to eat the darn things and I would send her more when ever she wanted. That's when you know that you have "made it". icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

I made cookies at christmas and for the past two years we have been giving them out to the neighbors. So this year I made NFSC and decorated them. We passed them out around the 20th of dec.
My one neighbor invited us over for a New Year's Eve party. We were standing around talking and she breaks out my cookies to show everyone. She had been hiding them from her husband, she was saving them because she thought they were cute.
I wonder if she still has them icon_rolleyes.gif
