Has Anyone ever froze and Decorated Cake??? And How did it turn out...
I've froze a cake and then brought it to room temp then decorated...
but never froze it decorated....

Well, I have frozen a cake that had ice cream filling and buttercream frosting. It was all buttercream and did just fine. I would think you could thaw it in it's wrapping and you would be ok. I'm curious to see how it turns out for you.. .good luck!

Yes, I've frozen fully decorated buttercream cakes during super-busy weeks and they were just fine.

Wholesalers ship frozen decorated cakes out to stores all the time.

Wedding couples freeze their top wedding cake tier too.
