My ultimate goal is to open a bakery, some day But for now, i'm looking for places to rent a kitchen. I live north of Dallas, if that helps for my area. What all do I need to do in order to become licensed and able to sell cakes? I'll take all advice and tips you guys have!! I am not having much luck finding info online, i've been googling and reading for hours ... ::sigh:: TIA!!!
Since you are looking for a place outside your home, a good place to start would be with a realtor. It is their job to know where all the commercial vs residential properties are. You will be surprised by how much info these guys have at their disposal.
Hi! I live in garland and I bake out of my church...
but there are very few kitchens to rent in dallas.
There are a lot in ftw though.
Hope that helps!

Have you seen the new law that just passed? As of Sept, you will be able to bake out of your home, if you follow the rules outlined in the law. Check out the link above for information about it.
Where is North of Dallas? Your area will greatly affect the number of available commercial kitchens, as well as the price for commercial space
I live close to Dallas too. I want to open my own bakery eventually too, but for now I am just going to bake out of my home once the new law passes.
