Cake Balls???

ok ive made the cake balls fine got them all preped up to get covered in chocolate icon_biggrin.gif then i heat the chocolate and its not getting to pouring consistency????? how in the world would i do this since its not doing it on its own? thanks for any advice.

that has happened to me too, I just add some vegetable shortening... a little at a time and slowly reheat it! it should be a good dipping or pouring consistency!

omg its 10:45 here and i just finished making cake balls i had no prob with the choc, i melted it in the microwave and then i added less then a cap full of veg, oil and stir and had no prob HTH

i used allmost 2 bags of hersheys choc. chips and i got something like 50 cake balls

Yeah, I too was going to say veggie oil. It worked great for me the last time I made them. I used candy melts though.
