I am bringng this topic up again to ask a question.
Has anybody here tried to convert the coco loco recipe to a yellow/ vanilla one?
I have been wondering the same thing! I have been looking for a vanilla cake that has the same texture as the chocolate cake from epicurious.
Suzi I just had to let you know that I used your cupcake recipe for the first time at the weekend for a friend of mine who has an egg allergy. It was actually my sons birthday and she was one of our guests. When I told her that all of the food at the party was egg-free, including the cupcakes, she almost cried. Everyone at the party thought they were delicious and my friend took the spare ones home. She just emailed me again to thank me for the cupcakes so I thought I'd better give you feedback.

Without going thru a gazillion posts, do you have this handy? I have people who are egg-allergy.....or vegans!

I have made the chocolate cupcake recipe. Noone knew it was vegan, I had to tell them it was and then they still did not believe me. I highly recommend it.

The chocolate strawberry shortcake? I want to try it. Is that the one you made? Just want to make sure it works. I won't tell anyone it's vegan until afterwards. Some people get suspicious of vegan cupcakes.
I did, but it was a long time ago. If you page back through, I did write about my results. It was so long ago I don't remember. In fact that was the last time I made chocolate cupcakes.
