Pretty much there's only what you have seen, or coloured dragees. Best bet is to get a mould and see what u can do you self - gumpaste or chocolate, or start getting into sugar, or melting down boiled sweets.

We bought jewels at the bakery expo and they said if they get cloudy, just rub a little oil on them (Crisco or veggie oil). We didn't use them yet but maybe this would help to try first.

Buy the molds and use Isomalt instead of sugar.

Just thought that I would throw out there, that I have just melted down jolly ranchers in the past and poured them into the jewel sugar molds if you want different colors and don't want to take the time to melt all the sugar and color it, worked great!
