Hi Michele what is the style of cake you are doing - so the dino is sitting up. I did one where the dino was laying down in 3D so his neck was done in sponge - can offer advice on this if you need?

I also did one with neck laying down, used RKT for neck & tail and mini ball pan cakes carved for head. If I was doing the head raised, I would use all RKT and support with a combo of wooden & hollow plastic dowels.
