Hi all! I'm considering purchasing this airbrush machine since it looks like something I'll use for my cupcakes and fondant decorating. I have a question, though... can I use an airbrush machine for coloring fondant after I cut the shapes/letters out instead of coloring it the traditional way (before cutting it)? Also, I'd like to make sure this is worth the investment since I'll only be using it on cupcakes and fondant decorations, and possibly some royal icing on cookies.
What do you guys think?
Here's the machine... (it's the $69.98 one a bit down the page).

Thanks! Maria
Yes..You can spray a white fondant object but you have to let it dry really good before coats...I often spray my pieces to get a darker hue than the fondant.Don't know about the brand you posted a pic for but I have the Kopykake Airmaster and I love it.Had it for several years now and never had a issue with it!!Knock on wood!!!
I have that exact airbrush, and I have just finished 2 cakes with it. I've had it for months and I'm just now getting around to using it. I love it.. it was quick and easy to use. I did do alittle practicing with water first. I think it was a great investment.
Just bought one after seeing this post. thanks, And I hope I can figure out how to use it.
I wanted to know if anyone knows anything about a badger cyclone 180-12 compressor? I wanted to purchase an airbrush kit and had no clue what to get. I went to the local A.C. Moore shop, and found this compressor new, on clearance for $50 bucks. It was $320.00! I couldn't pass it up. I guess I just wanted to know if it a good one to airbrush cakes with. I paid more for the airbrush than I did the compressor!!!
i just bought that same airbrush today.... cant wait to get it here....i am very excited
