All I can say is that if you do Macsmom's recipe, you will be forever hooked. Hands down one of the best cakes I have ever tasted or made. People were actually arguing over getting their fingers onto the cakeboard to mop up the last crumbs/icing icon_surprised.gif

I just made some cupcakes this past weekend. I used a scratch vanilla cupcake recipe, but I subbed 1/2 the vanilla for orange extract and added some orange zest. I frosted them with the buttercream dream vanilla BC. Oh my! These were delicious and I don't even really like orange. I took some of the BC and added some more orange extract and then filled the cupcakes with them. For me this was overkill. But everyone else loved the filling.
