I seem to be really bad at determining how much fondant I should make, so I'm hoping for some help before I make my next tiered cake icon_smile.gif

I'm making an 8 and 10 inch round tiered cake. (approximately 4.5 inches high) Approximately how many pounds of fondant will I need to cover the cakes?

Any help is appreciated!

There is a chart in the Wilton yearbooks that I use which really makes it easy to determine the amount needed. According to the chart, you would need 60 oz. or 3.75 pounds of fondant.
