Im taking a Wilton decorating course at Michaels and I've got a few of the things I need that are in the student kit (but not all of it) and I was wondering if anyone knows the price of the "ultimate" student kit (the one you would buy for all of the classes instead of kit #1 or kit #2). Im going to take all the courses, and even if I have the stuff in it, it'd be nice to have doubles of some of the things. I could call and ask but it's a holiday today and Im just being REALLY curious and can't wait till tomorrow!

I know that last week Michaels had the kit on sale for 99.99 but I don't know if it is still on sale.

At my Michaels it is $199.99. I would use a coupon in it myself.

The kits run $35 each.

it'd be awesome if the sale is still on! I have a coupon for 40% off, I think I'll use that for sure! Maybe I'll just by the smaller kit because even if I have to buy all 4 kits for each course it's still cheaper. Why would the ultimate one be so expensive? Does it have more in it?

oh ya, The Bulk Barn has the kit for $27 (but don't quote me on that, it's somewhere close to that)
But then if I can use the 40% off coupon, it'd be cheaper at Michaels (my math is horrible though so maybe Im wrong lol)

If it's on sale Michael's won't let you use a coupon on it.

$35 for the three kits ($105)
$65 for the empty box

Plus it comes with other additional items. Such as tip covers, the small rolling pin, spatulas and other stuff.

If you were to buy it all out, you'd end up spending that much if not more. With a 40% off coupon you are looking at $120, which isn't much over if you just bought the three kits not on sale.

I just got the wilton ultimate kit and it was $125 with a 40% off coupon. The reason it costs more than the three kits combined is because with the small kits you dont get the carrying case for all your tools

ya, I didn't think I would be able to use the coupon if it's on sale. I think I'd be better off to buy the ultimate kit (plus then I'd have the carrying case for the stuff.
Thanks everyone

I just wanted to say that I went today and bought the regular kit...the other kit was $270.00!! I just couldn't spend that much right then! Plus, I already have some of the supplies anyways so the regular kit was good enough for me!

oh, and not only that, the regular kits are $50.00 each (way more then where you guys are! So I used my 40% off coupon and it wasn't too bad) I wish ours weren't so expensive!
