What tip do you recommend to get that perfect cupcake swirl? I have a wilton 1M but it does does nat swirl at the top.
Do you have a picture of the look you want?
The majority of swirls are the 1M, there's videos on you tube for the technique.
xx
I use a 1m (open star) and 2d (closed star).
I have seen some really pretty cupcakes on here done with the ateco tips. I thought I had one saved in my fav's to show an example, but I don't anymore.
It'snot the tip that doesn't make the swirl, it's how you use it.
If you can post a photo of what you want, then we can tell you how to achieve that look.
I use 1m all the time. I love the look.

go to the Bakers Kitchen website and the have a set that you can buy for $12 (I think) and it has 6 different swirl sizes. # 802, 803, etc
