Has anyone tried the vanilla cupcake recipe from the Hummingbird Bakery cookbook? I was thinking of ordering the book through Amazon but it got mixed reviews. Everything from "best cupcakes I've ever eaten" to "simply inedible".

I've only made the cupcakes, they were nice, although il be sticking to my standard recipe. It's a very pretty book though, and I will try some more recipes.
