I want to make roses with modeling chocolate.How long will they stay fresh&what is the best storage-in fridge or air tight storage at room temp.
Also what is best method for coloring?Thanks for any help.

I do air tight room temp, keeps for ages. If the color I want comes in the candy melts already, I use them to make my clay instead of using white and then coloring. Otherwise, you run the risk of some of the food colors giving your clay a weird, kind of slimy texture you have to use corn starch and such to get rid of.
