Chocolate Ganache Under White Fondant

I'm making a purse cake this weekend. The cake will be chocolate and I wanted to use ganache underneath my fondant (SI) for a nice smooth finish. I would prefer to use dark chocolate ganache because it tastes so much better than white chocolate ganache, but would dark chocolate ganache show through a fairly thick layer of white fondant? If so, is there any flavoring I could add to the white chocolate to make it taste better? Thanks!
I use chocolate ganache under white fondant quite often. The zebra cake in my photos has chocolate ganache under white fondant. You can see that you can't see the dark chocolate through the fondant.
You can easily use Dark Choc ganache under fondant...I used it and you cant see it unless you roll your fondant too thin!
I have used it under white buttercream to crumb coat a RV cake...works like a charm!
