Could any one please tell me if I could mix gel-coloring with Vodka and spray it on buttercream? I thought maybe the Vodka might work where it evaporates.

If this idea is dumb or won't work...would anyone know of a way I could use the gel-coloring mixed with something else for spraying. No where around me right now is open that sells the Wilton's spray colors.

I would be thankful & greatful for any help!
God Bless,

Right now I am thinking I have lost my mind with the Vodka idea icon_surprised.gificon_eek.gificon_cry.gif

Thanks to those who the time to read the post, but I came up with an idea to get a color effect that should work, by mixing my shades of buttercream.

I think you might have lost your mind too.

I havent ever heard of it being done.

I say mix a little coloring with a little vodka and practice on something first.

I was told that worked, never tried it though. Do you have an airbrush gun? I'm not sure i would try it out of a spray bottle.

Thanks for your replys, there was no need for me to try it, I got the effect I need another way... but I think one day when I have the time I am going to try it and see if it will work.

God Bless,
Sharon
