ive saw in a cake deco store like a round wax paper for cupcakes wondering if that would help...if i bake them for a shorter amount of time they wont be done sooo...
If the bottoms of your cupcakes are getting burnt, try moving your tin up to a higher rack in your oven. You also may need to lower your oven temp.
Does your cupcake tin sit on a grid type of rack, or on a solid type of rack?
I have had stuff burn if I put the tin on a solid shelf. Since then if I need to use that shelf as well as a grid rack at the same time, I put the cupcake/cake tin on a cooling rack on that shelf.
When I started baking at 325, one batch at a time, and removed them at the minimum yet still done baking time, I have had no problems at all with the bottoms being too dark.
try putting an empty oven tray on the rack underneath them, it should help protect your cupcakes.
