I am making a cake with firefly's in a jar on top and around the cake, it is a simple cake so i dont want the firefly's to detailed.
Any ideas on how to make them look cute, but when you look at them you know they are firefly's????

Any ideas would be so helpful, thanks!

That sounds adorable, please post pics when done. The only thing I could think of is to do them like bees but color the back half with neon yellow and a little green mixed and no wings or make them black (fire fly wings are kinda ugly IMO). I used that combo of colors for a softball and it kind of looks like glowing like a firefly... I am just a hobby caker so can't give much other input. Good luck, I am sure it will turn out awesome! icon_smile.gif
