I need to make the color sage.... what colors should I use?

When I created the color sage for one of my cakes (in my photos...the hand painted roses cake) I used a little deep green, yellow, a little black and white (gray) and brown (forgot this in my first response). HTH.

It doesn't look much like sage in the picture, but it matched my wall letters that I painted the cake to match. Here they are on my site....http://j3creations.net/images/oliviatoile.jpg

when I make sage I use green, golden yellow and a little brown, I add then one by one so I can see how the colors coming.

hi, in the whimsical bake house book, she says to use green and brown(liquid gel colors). hth 2 drops of green, 1 drop of brown to 1/4 cup of b/c

Americolor Avocado is a pretty nice sage color.

ditto! i made a yellow/green color first and then add tiny bits of brown slowly icon_smile.gif

and wiltons juniper green is a nice sage colour too.
