Quick Question: If I make my fondant shiny by using edible varnish, vegetable shortening or pam (I heard you could spray it on the cake), will my edible image be damaged? I'm afraid it will be saturated by it or something

No, infact the opposite! The images become more vibrant and become more like a "real" Photo! Just be sure to hold the can back a bit so the spray settles on the image.

Thanks for your help! With the spray, I heard that you use a brush after spraying. So I would have to use a brush to make the shine uniform. Do you think this will damage the image?

Thank you from ordering from our company.  You have to be careful with glazes and make sure they are edible, not just food safe. While you can glaze them, certain glazes may cause the colors to bleed.  We offer a luster sheet that can be printed on which has a sparkle to it.
