I finished my first "real" cake this weekend for my sisters 17th birthday. I've been on here for about two years, but I've only done a hand ful of cakes and this was the first stacked cake with fondant details. All of the help on here was really great-thanks!!!

catlharper-yes it is!!! I swear Cakecentral has taught me WAY more than I could learn at my local school. I've thought about going to a big pastry school, but then I look at all the amazing self taught people on here and think twice Every one here inspires me and its ridiculously addictive LOL

Oh I feel like I should also mention that I got some of these amazing ideas on here-I'm not sure who it was, but kudos to them for the inspiration!
