I've purchased a deep cut blade for the cricut cake. when you adjust the dial on the deep cut blade housing, when it is 6, is the blade almost invisible?

My blade sticks pretty deep into the housing.. is it normal?

the blade included with the cricut cake IS a deep cut blade...you don't need to buy a new one. If you want to cut paper with it you will need to get new blades and a paper mat in order to keep it food safe tho'.
