I just had a client call about a wedding cake for her daughter who has had gasteric by pass sugergy and is not able to eat sugar laden food. She said that she has used the Pillsbury reduced sugar cake and her daughter can eat this. Can I turn this into the WASC cake. What would you use in place of the extra cup of sugar. Is there a frosting I can make that is reduced sugar. They only want a small cake for the bride to have to eat, the rest of the cake would be made as usual. Any help and ideas appreciated.
