Bwahahahaha! Sorry... I just LOVE Sleep Talkin' Man. GOOD stuff. icon_lol.gif

I wonder if you could mix some peanut butter in with the chocolate... melt it in the microwave, then spread it on top instead of doing it the 'easy' way and letting them melt on top. It would make a teeny bit more effort, but SO worth it. Or, duh! Just mix PB chips with the choc chips, and sprinkle then spread. Back to super easy!! YAY!

The pb chips sound great, pooh! another trip to the market with child in tow. I'm tired of summer already, but looking forward to cake & cookie experimenting. I'm making this crack stuff today and trying a new icing/piping tip for making that ruffled look on the sides of the cake, DH is going fishing soo the "real time off" starts! icon_biggrin.gif

AHHH, but crack seepage is the best! We actually 1.5 -2x the caramel to give it a nice thick coat and because of this the g. crackers bubble getting the caramel/toffee goo al the way around them. MMMMMM. I think I might defrost some tonght. Oh yes, you can freeze it. icon_razz.gif

I don't know if you have the same problem I have when freezing, though...even though they are well sealed, the container seems to empty itself amazingly quickly. icon_lol.gif

Because you are just as sick and twisted as we are. And you have good taste. icon_lol.gif

Redpanda, I'd look into that issue... sounds like there is something wrong with your freezer. Yup. Definitely a 'hardware' issue.

We always called it Poor Man's Almond Roca. Haven't tried it with the graham crackers though! That sounds like it would be yummy!
