If you can order online, there is a company that can ship everything you need for them. The place is amazing, it called www.cakeconnection.com They are based in Jackson MI but they ship all over! Hope that helps...

Great idea bobhope. I haven't done this technique myself, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it. Good luck.

use 1 envelope knox unflavored gelatine (1Tbls ) , 2 1/2Tbls warm water. ( You can make larger amounts just use 2 1/2 parts water to 1 geletine. )
1- place water in small microwave safe bowl
2- sprinkle geletine over top and mix gently, let soften a few minutes.
3 -place in microwave in 10 sec intervals, stirring each time with a wooden stick until mix is clear and geletine is dissolved.
4 - once dissolved and warmed let sit for the foam to rise to the top. ( it may take 10 min or so depending on how hot the mixture is ) then gently spoon away.
5 - Once this is done you can add the colors ( air brush colors work best because they are already liquid plus they offer nice pearl sheens )

rewarm mixture as needed 10 sec

you can also use sugar free flavored geletine ( has to be sugar free ) this way you don't need to add flavors or colors

I just recently took a class on this and I'm addicted now, they look so real.

Hope this helped good luck

Yes, you use gelatin powder (like knox) - check the post by justdi in the how do I section - you will find all of you answers there. It has anything you would ever want to know about the gelatin technique there! icon_smile.gif

If you have any specific questions, if you ask in that post, you will get an answer pretty quickly.
