My niece is making a wedding cake for her cousin. It is going to be covered in chocolate fondant.
Which chocolate fondant tastes best?
Which chocolate fondant is easiest to work with?
Thank you. Joanne
I use the Golda's brand and it's really good. You can guy it from Goldaskitchen.com. It's great to work with. I've been told that the Choco Pan is good too but very sweet tasting.
I used the Golda's one for the first time last night, it was good but I found it a little softer than the white fondant, perhaps all of the chocolate ones are like that..
I have used Satin Ice's chocolate & it is very tasty like a tootsy roll but just a tad more sticky than normal fondant.
We prefer Fondarific's chocolate fondant. It tastes much more like tootsie rolls than other brands.

I have to vote for Petitice also. Yes it does taste like a Tootsie Roll but better - almos like fudge. Couldn't stop munching while using this stuff. Well worth the money!
Thanks for all the input. I think I will try the Pettinice since so many think it is the best.
Hello,..I also will make a chocolate covered fondant..so I need the feedback on the best chocolate fondant to work with and taste as well...
Were you happy with Pennitice?
Thanks! appreciate your feedback.
