I truly enjoyed the steampunk cake contest! I didn't enter the contest, but I had a lot of fun viewing and voting. It was the first contest I actually followed and couldn't wait to see the results of! When I first read about the theme, I had no idea what steampunk was, but after I familiarized myself with the aspects of the genre, I was so excited to see what kind of interesting cakes people would come up with. I was so impressed! Thanks to all the brave cakers who took on this challenge and thanks CC for going "outside the box" and treating us all to an amazing contest!

I too did not know what SteamPunk was, my son was embarassed by my lack of '"Coolness" and proceeded to inform me about it and I researched it and enjoyed looking at all the awesome cakes that were entered. Congratulations to the winners!
