I am also glad I am not the only one. I thought I was losing my mind recently when I made a very light pink cake with mauve flowers and purple butterflies. The cake was so pretty at home and then I delivered it and it had looked like the color changed. I thought it was because of the flourescent lighting, but this may have been the issue. THEN ... we cut the cake and the fondant that was under the second tier was the right color. Thank goodness I did it as a favor for a friend, but everyone liked the cake anyway and I was the only one that knew it changed color! UGH!
