I've been whining to my husband to buy me a cricut cake, an agbay cake leveler and an edible ink printer for quite some time, well I'm happy to tell you that it finally worked and I'm getting all 3 for mother's day! icon_biggrin.gif The only thing is that he has no idea on what they are so I have to order them myself (I don't really mind as long as I get them) I'm so excited and nervous that I encountered problems and I don't know what to do. icon_cry.gif Can anyone help me?
1.-I tried the agbay website and there is no place to order one, where can I buy it?
2.-Where can I buy a good printer and which one is the best?
3.-Cricut cake, is it cheaper online or Michael's?
TIA for any help, I really want to buy my things before my hubby thinks twice about his mother's day present to me icon_razz.gif and decides to give me only one, hahaha. God bless

I know with the Agbay, you have order by phone. The lady is so nice, she can answer any questions you might have.

I purchased my Epson stylus CX8400 "my cake printer" from Best Buy on sale in-store for $59.00 and just purchased the ink cart. and frosting sheets from kopy kake.

The setup on their website sells for $499.00 (same exact printer nothing different) if your not worried about getting the promo banner and buttons then you can get started with edible images for: $159.00.

Printer: $59.00
Ink: $72.00
frosting sheets: $28.00

Yes the ink cost more than the printer LOL. But thats the same thing with my regular printer and I don't make money using it. icon_eek.gif HTH

I looked at the Michaels email again and I had the numbers transposed....it's $297, says the sale is thru May 15. I was right about the cartridges though, $49

My hubby ordered everything for my edible images a couple of Christmases ago. He bought the epson printer at epson.com and the supplies from Kopykake.

So, can I get "any" new printer and just get the edible ink and frosting sheets and plug it to my computer and I'm set? If so I'm going to best buy tomorrow and look for sales, or it has to be the Epson stylus? This would work way better, I looked online and yes, they are around $500! icon_surprised.gif
Mrs-A I saw the form, I will send her an email as you suggested, thank you for the tip thumbs_up.gif

Not necessarily the Stylus model but it has to be a Cannon or Epson brand.Kopy kake has a pdf file with the list of model #'s they carry the edible ink for. best buy have the exact one kopy kake is selling in the bundle for $500 on sale NOW for $69.00 if you have a best buy rewards card and have unused points you can put them towards the printer thats how I got 10.00 off the 69.00 sale price.

Yes, I have the rewards card with some points on it! yeyyyyy, thank you all soooo much for all your help, I'm finally getting all my toys and I won't feel guilty of making my hubby pay so much money, he's a sweetheart and offered to pay for everything but if I can save him some green, he might offer to buy me expensive toys more often icon_wink.gificon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gif
