My daughter's class is having a mother's day tea on Friday and I was asked to make a pan of brownies. I don't really want to do plain old brownies. Anybody have a good and different recipe and or some cute ideas to decorate them. TIA
Karen
Anybody? I know somebody must have a really good brownie recipe out there besides putting chocolate chips in it. Help me please
I just use a basic brownie recipe. It doesn't even have chocolate chips in it.
Maybe you can get a hold of wilton's brownie fun book. I have seen a copy and they had a lot of different ideas.
They do have a black cherry pizza in it and some other pizza ideas as well.
You can top with any of the Andes mints while they are warm and they melt and make a wonderful topping. There is also a recipe here on CC for a self filled cupcake brownie that has a cream cheese/choc. chip filling that is dropped in before baking-my 16 yr old grandson said they were the best thing he had ever eaten!
What about making a basic brownie recipe, then frosting with a fudge frosting and decorate with colorful mini marshmallows.
what about making brownies and then using a cookie cutter to cut them out into different shapes?
If you don't have any teapot or tea related cutters, what about hearts, M's (for Mom), etc. and then you could even decorate the tops with royal like they're cookies : )
