Farmers Market Cupcakes - Page 3

Wondering how everyones fm was going. I have my 1st one tomorrow and wanted advice on how much to bring. I have not been there before so cupcakes are new to this fm. I was thinking maybe 60 cupcakes to start out?? Also if anyone has any other ideas of bake goods that sells well at fm I would appreciate it.

I sold over 100 cc last Sat and 48 cake pops. The pops went fast (kids loved them).
I sold the pops for $2 each. This week I am taking 100 pops. Last Sat was the college grad day and it rained so not many turned out. I also heard rice crispies on a stick sell well with the kids. Oh and I didnt have enough boxes. I had single boxes and dozen boxes. But most folks wanted 2 or 4 to take home. Good Luck!

@ dmenifee. They look like upsidedown plastic cups to me. I haven't sold at a fm before but I recently bought from one. They had one of each of they're flavors displayed under a case but the ones they sold were kept in a cooler. It was pretty hot that day so the display ones were pretty melted. But I still bought them for my kiddos icon_razz.gif

Thanks, I was guessing they were upside down cups lol. Also I have been thinking to do ice packs for the displays .......find a way to hide the ice packs

Hi, I am new to the cupcake farmermarket business. Please shoot me some advise on cold storage for the cupcakes. I checked on techni-ice from Webstraunt and the rep. couldn't find the item? Thanks! PS Your cupcake display is awsome!
