How About A Place To Share Scal/mtc Files On Cc?

With more and more of us using Cricut and SCAL or MTC- wouldn't it be great if we had a place on CC to share the files that we have created? I've put a lot of work into creating some stencils for various things and would be happy to share them - and I'm sure others here would too. A tab at the top that said SCAL/MTC files and led to a place where we could upload and download .scut files for SCAL or .mtc files for MTC could be AWESOME. We could put on a description of the image, what we used it for, best size, etc - anything that would be helpful to someone else who would like to use it.
Anybody else out these interested in seeing something like this on the website?

I am still waiting on my Cricut Cake to be delivered and I have been trying to learn more about MTC and SCAL before it gets here. What I have learned is that I have a lot to learn! Since I have never even seen a Cricut before, I am going to have to figure it out before I even think about using those programs.
Having a place to get ready-made files would be great, especially for beginners. I would be happy to share when I figure out how to!

I have the scal and the letters and shapes cd and don't know how it works. When I put it in did it tranfer somehwere on the computer or do you use it from the cd? I need to learn how to work this stuff I can't see what's on the images suppposed to be like 24,000 and 100,000 fonts is that right? I can't remember I bought it last year got frustrated and quit, but I do need some Graduation stuff if it's on there. I know I'm computer illiterate. And yes I watched the tutorials I need hands on. It confuses me when someone isn't there to ask in person.
So does using scal reduce the need for buying a bunch of cartridges? I'm still trying to figure out how all this works.. I'm waiting for my cake to come in the mail.. should be here tomorrow =)
Yes, SCAL2 and MTC (Make the Cut) allow you to use your own designs and fonts or use one of the thousands of designs that are posted on the Internet. I have many cartridges for scrapbooking because I do like the layers function but it's not that important for fondant/gumpaste. I use MTC but SCAL2 is also good. Download the trial version of both and see which one is best for you. The developer of MTC is currently doing webinars to help people use his program and has upgrades scheduled for the near future. He listens to his users needs. Pretty cool in my opinion.
Here's an example of what you can do with MTC and SCAL2. Picture 1 is an image of a giraffe I found on the Internet. Picture 2 is after putting it into MTC. It is now ready to cut. If I was scrapbooking, I would have kept the giraffe's spots, eyes, mouth, etc. but for a cake, I' just need the outline.
I would love this! I just got SCAL and am so happy with it! Did exactly what I wanted in a matter of minutes!
