I need to make 4 cakes to celebrate students who met their reading goals. Any suggestion on some good " reading phrases".
Thanks

I'm a collector of quotes and I think reading is THE most important thing we can teach our kids. Not just the how-to but the love and passion of it.

Here are some quotes about books and reading that I like:
Some of them might be too long to put on a cake and some might not be understood by your kids depending on their age:

One of them is not reading them.
~ Joseph Brodsky ~

Reading well is one of the great pleasures that solitude can afford you. ~Harold Bloom
Congratulations to your readers for meeting their goals. It's hard to get some students to like to read because their confidence in their ability is low and some of them find looking at black marks on white pages to be overwhelming from a purely mental processing perspective. Others have a hard time transmitting written words to images in their minds which is key to getting them to like to do it!
