I have made a bow for my granddaugthers' graduation. I have to make the printed pattern of the fondant. I want the gold to really stand out. The color of her cake will be white with gold fondant. The picture I have of the cake is brown with white fondant. Please help me to color my fondant bright shiny gold. I have no idea how to do this.

Buy some airbrush food coloring in gold. It works great - you just paint it on your white fondant straight from the bottle.

Use gold luster dust mixed with vodka, or gold airbrush color, and paint it on with a paintbrush. You should probably color the fondant that you'll be painting gold a pale yellow first.

Don't use Wilton's gold pearl dust, it won't be as gold as you're looking for.
