I was wondering if you can use Americolors to color buttercream? I've always used Wilton's colors. Thanks so much

I use Ameicolor all the time for butter cream and fondant. Works great for me, a lot easier than Wilton.

Yes, you can use Americolor. It is the brand of my choice. There are several gel paste brands out there, with Americolor and Chefmaster generally considered to be the best. Wilton may be the most accessable brand as it is available in national chain stores, but it is not the only available and definitely not the best available.

Yes! And they work great. Alot easier than Wilton because you don't have to use toothpicks. You just squeeze out how much you need and there are alot more color choices.

Once you use Americolor, you will never go back to Wilton again! icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you all so much. I truly appreciate the fast responses! I just came across the Americolors at a local shop and had only been shopping at national chains thus far. I can't wait to use them!
