Greetings, I was just wondering....if there was a way for you to create "present bows" would you (decorators) be interested? I am creating something that will allow you to easily create these bows out of gumpaste, fondant, etc. Yes, I am also a bit of an inventor. Please let me know - thanks and have a great cake day!
That would be cool, but there is one way already using a mold: http://www.theredhotkitchen.com/PackageBowInstructions.html
Hi, Duane,
Do you have any suggestions how to create a flying eagle for a cake? I'm trying to find a mold for either chocolate or marzipan. Have a project this coming weekend to make a cake honoring a 67-year old who just got her AA degree! I wanted to put her diploma in its mouth at the corner of a full sheet cake.
Any ideas?
Thanks, ButtercreamGail
I don't need anything but gumpaste, something to cut with and something to use to form the bows, all things I have already. I really don't think there needs to be any other 'quick fix' thing for them as they are already pretty easy to do with out some fancy gadget.
FlourPots - I checked out the site with the molds and love it. Maybe some folks are right - too many toys can be a bad thing. TexasSugar - great job on the weight loss, I wish I could get motivated to do the same. Take care - keep the comments coming. I haven't seen many present type bows, so I wanted to find out if there was a need/want. Thanks.
