i'm new at all this. i made a cake last night and my fridge was full. will the frosting (made with milk) spoil if it was left overnight in the cake box ?

..you will be fine! The sugar acts as a preservative and it is fine at room temp for a couple days!

is it normal for buttercream icing to stiffen once a cake is all decorated ?
